So, He hurts his team all game long by losing faceoffs intentionally, and by doing so, probably puts them in a position where they really have to win one to seal a win?

Why not just win them all game long and give yourself a better chance to score more goals and not need the late faceoff win?

EDIT - Dave Keon, one of the most overrated players of all time and a whiny crybaby to boot
